Sr UX Designer & Information Architect

In her role as Sr. UX Designer & Information Architect, Bendte loves partnering with Duke colleagues and OIT teams to create easy-to-use digital products from websites, apps, tools, or services that meet business goals and user needs. She is a creative problem solver who believes that user research is key to providing recommendations for content structure and functionality.

Outside of work, you can find her gardening with native plants and veggies, foraging for edible plants, cooking (beans are a favorite), and listening to music, especially seeing live music. Lately, she’s been learning about synthesizers at Boom Club in Durham and getting back into volunteering with WXDU, Duke’s radio station.
