I was born and raised in Turkey and moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 2018. Outside of academics, I enjoy weightlifting, kayaking, swimming, trying new recipes, and watching TV shows (some would say with way too many seasons). I also recently picked up crocheting, and while I’m still a beginner, I can already feel this is going to be a calming and creative outlet for me!
