Hugh Thomas is the Founder & CEO of Forewarned, Inc., a cybersecurity company headquartered in New York City. Launched in 2021 as a spin-out from Duke University's Office of Information Technology (OIT), Forewarned specializes in leveraging the STINGAR platform to help organizations detect & combat network threats.
Prior to founding Forewarned, Hugh spent years at Duke University's OIT, where he developed deep expertise in cybersecurity infrastructure and threat intelligence. His work at Duke laid the foundation for the innovations that would become the core of Forewarned's mission.
Hugh is passionate about making cutting-edge cybersecurity tools accessible to organizations of all sizes, and continues to lead Forewarned in building scalable, intelligence-driven solutions to defend against evolving cyber threats.
