Chatbots and artificial intelligence (AI) are quickly moving from the category of trendy new customer service tools to the mainstream. Leveraging the dramatic advancements in machine learning and other underlying technologies such as natural language processing to create conversational agents, a team of students will work with Duke’s Office of Information Technology and partners across campus to design and develop an AI customer service chat platform for Duke University. The team will meet with Duke stakeholders to explore ideas and define the feature set for the chatbot.
