Transforming the Full Frame Film Festival Digital Experience
Description
This project focuses on enhancing the website for the high-profile Full Frame Documentary Film Festival. The current site faces challenges such as poor rendering across devices and limited volunteer support for updates. The project aims to redesign and modernize the website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for a wide range of devices while addressing integration challenges with Duke’s ticketing system, which differs from mainstream platforms like Ticketmaster.
Students will collaborate with Duke’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) and festival stakeholders to identify pain points, implement design improvements, and enhance the overall functionality. Stretch goals include exploring ways to improve the user experience within the constraints of Duke’s ticketing system and integrating additional features to streamline navigation and engagement, providing students with a rich set of tasks and visibility through a high-impact project.
