Description:

A team of students will work with Duke’s Office of Information Technology and other partners across Duke, including Duke Student Government, to build an app for issue reporting. The team will define the features necessary for the application to report and track issues that need to be addressed. The team will also explore using hardware technologies such as Raspberry Pis as a mechanism to report issues as well as leverage geo-location technologies. Issues reported could include a poor Wi-Fi signal, a broken window, icy pavement, etc. The team will review and consider the features and functions that were developed in the proof-of-concept application created by a 2019 Code+ team.

I think cooking is equivalent to programming but for your tastebuds, and lately I have been keen on perfecting the best algorithms for my carnivorous self. I am from Tanzania, home for me is the foothills of Kilimanjaro and the Indian ocean beaches. In my spare time, when not cooking, I enjoy reading, walking Duke Gardens and sketching.

I’m from Uganda, passionate about the application of AI technologies to drive innovation, decision-making and improve organization performance. I am an excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and strongly believe “teamwork is the secret that makes common people achieve uncommon results.” During my free time I like to socialize and make new friends.
